saturday but not in the park

Here it is another Saturday and I'm at the office with nothing better to do. I keep looking toward August 19th and am pleased to see that it is now officially less than a week away.

Stuff happening this week:
Work-related: HUGE delivery to the customer, notification on approval from a different customer, retirement luncheon for someone, moving to aforementioned retired person's office.
Non-work-related: Close on the new house, drive to Maryland, see family. That's enough!

I'm still waiting to hear from the referees about putting content on the PCOA website. That's the first set of unreliable people. Next is the Upward Panama City people. We were supposed to have meetings weeks ago. She wants to open registration in three weeks but she's done nothing as far as I know about getting dates or anything. I'm not sure I still want to be involved. Third is the Upward corporate people. There's a guy here in the homeschool group (former semi-pro coach!) who wants to do a flag football thing. Upward has a pilot flag football thing going that we probably won't be able to get into this year. But it'll be public next year, I think and we can do it then. I'm waiting to hear from them too.
